No.

Humans are not that special. We are monkeys on the dirt-end of the Kardeshev scale, and the Forerunner have been breaking even more capable civilizations for millions of years. Weapons fit to fight the UNSC with should have been part and parcel of the Forerunner armory.

Also, take a closer look at the gunship. See those hinge pieces? That gunship is designed to have pilots. You don't need pilots when you have drones.

So, yeah. This thing is about as stupid as a hover-chariot drawn by crawlers.
