The absolute last thing that I want is to see the unique badassitude of the ODSTs get tossed aside by a push for more Bro-tan 4s, especially if that push is done by turning one of the most memorable characters in the Halo Universe into one of them. That would be insanely depressing, and would put a bad taste in my mouth towards any future ODST-esque projects (we saw how well Spartan Ops did in screwing up a side-story following a different squad of soldiers).

I shudder to think... That said, this guy sounds like the first smart move that 343 has made in years (barring the addition of ODST to the trainwreck that is the MCC, but even that was hurt by the exclusion of Firefight). He wins a lot of points by for highlighting Nylund's FoR, but that could just be a carefully worded script that 343i is using to try to earn some goodwill. At this point, I wouldn't put anything past those rats. Still, going into this with a positive mind, since we don't get much in the way of pre-343 Halo universe.
