Thanks for the tips

I recall disabling searching on the main site for guests and setting a high cooldown time for members a while back. Will probably look into disabling it completely soon. The HMC Archive forums (ie, the forums pre-kornman00's reign of terror) however, have had search and many other features disabled for a while now. Which only strengthens my suspicion that IPS is to blame.
