Yeah I'm sure. They weren't shooting at all. When you jump and set up to do the ground pound, the reticle will be white if you can do it and red if you can't. So if you just jump and hold the thumbstick the reticle will stay red and you'll just get shot down. Prepping the ground pound also has a different, more recognizable sound.
