A cool thought. Mercy didn't put up much a fight...so he either didn't have or hadn't had a chance to activate the chair guns. As for the Brutes, there were only what, six of them? No problem for the Chief. Too bad he wasn't just a little faster getting there...I never really liked that Master Chief accomplished basically nothing in the 2nd half of H2.
