I'd agree with this on a case by case basis.

However, eating a Krispy Kreme doughnut (see, they know how to spell doughnut--the important part) is an exquisite experience, if done properly. How does one do this, you ask?

1. Remember: there is only one Krispy Kreme doughnut--the plain glazed. It can be consumed with only coffee. Ice-cold whole milk is an allowable substitute for children or for adults on very hot days.

2. You must be on the premises of an official Krispy Kreme establishment.

3. The giant neon "Hot!" sign must be visible and lit.

4. It helps to be in North Carolina (closer to the mothership), but this is not a rule, just a nice-to-have.
