I just caught some video with the devs talking about the new movement along with associated clips, and then some image detailing the button combos you have to do to execute this stuff.

It's nonsense. I don't want a twitch shooter. I don't want a bouncy shooter. I don't want to remember button combos. I can't even make sense of the button combos in their image, because the default controls aren't Recon (the only true default).

I'll keep an eye on it, I guess, but I think I can safely say I'm still out, and they haven't recovered my interest after the disaster that was Halo 4's multiplayer. And while it'd be great to at least take their Beta for a spin, it's sitting behind a several hundred dollar entrance fee, which I cannot and will not be able to afford at any point during the window it'll be running.

I feel like a masochist. 343 has given me very little, if anything, that I've liked since the moment they started tinkering with Reach, so much so that I've basically tuned them out completely, and yet I keep watching with half an eye and coming back in the hope they've done something awesome that'll make me love Halo again.

It sucks.
