Halo 3 - Cut Cinematic - Ziggurat Reveal

Wonder why they cut this?...

Description:
"So in the final game this cinematic doesn't make much sense, But there is a lot of leftover dialog in this level that can help piece it together. From what i see Johnson wasn't supposed to come with you to Halo.
