It makes complete sense because they're adding a feature for instant switching of the music to go along with the graphics which is a very logical and intuitive feature. Adding another layer on top of that feature to switch each one independently, although it would be neat, is not as important and could be confusing.

I prefer this method because it keeps each experience pure. It's like saying you want to watch the Star Wars original trilogy but with the Soundtrack of the Special Editions.
