: Ambivalent Cartographer
: This challenge ends next Monday, the 29th.
Gave this a shot last night, and i must say it was more difficult than expected. Turns out simply running past the enemies is not as simple as i thought. I also learned just how much i crave killing covies, it is so hard to stare them down and let them live on.
I had to cut my session after a lucky/unlucky checkpoint on the upper tier where the gold elite is. Lucky that i pulled the checkpoint in the room with grunts and the 2 elites nearby, but unlucky that i only have a single health bar remaining. I hope to complete the challenge over the weekend but this has def increased my appreciation for those who play as a pacifist or even speedrun. And i imagine this is one of the easier levels to attempt this on with all the overshields and open areas.
It's been enjoyable, but a bit more frustrating than i hoped for. Glad i had an excuse to try this type of approach, thanks for posting!
Bonus note, after getting the hog at the crashed pelican site and driving past the beach, i was suprised to see the storm the beach battle was still raging on - cool stuff!
