Granted, I haven't read every panel of every issue of Escalation yet, but to me, the opening dialogue from Chief is probably the best writing yet in the series. We actually get some significant character development. I think it goes along nicely with how we left Chief at the end of H4, he isn't ready to die because he is searching for who he is.
