The SMGs have always sounded the weakest of the weapons. And the new sound isn't bad... What bothers me is the way it sounds hollow. Like it's not ACTUALLY being used in the environment. I agree with the statement of Halo 4 being all over the place, and many of the sounds I do like. But some *cough* warthog *cough* just take me out of the game. Though, it COULD be argued that the sounds are more real as being heard through Chief's helmet :-p

I guess in the end... I think it looks pretty great. I just want the sound to be 100% too, and I felt like Halo 4 had sound ranging from 40% in places, to perfect in others.
