Yeah, its cool to switch back and forth, but its not a deal breaker to me.

I used the switch in Halo CEA, in areas that were too dark to see well in the new graphics. The older graphics were more brightly lit.

I can only imagine that the Arbiter mission in the library will be really dark in some areas, as well as the flood infected High Charity mission.
