- The election and inauguration of President Ruth Charet in the days following the end of the Battle of Earth. It seems Dr. Charet is pro-empire and aims for complete reunification of Earth's far-flung ravished colonies, so it would be cool to see the perceptions of her from the provincial self-rule and separatist caucuses in the lead up to the polls and their actions following her election.

- Witnessing the growing and fluctuating sympathies of a UNSC combat veteran towards rebel causes during their service in the Insurrection or during the later, post-war resurgence. The latter would favor a SPARTAN-IV routinely deployed against such forces primarily instead of the Covenant as their predecessors did.

- Considering that Dr. Halsey chose candidates for SPARTAN-II with strict protocols psychological and biological status, I wonder how she would react to a transgender candidate suffering from gender identity dysphoria. As these early Spartans seemed to bottle up their feelings until late into the war or still keep them in, I don't think Halsey and her staff would be all that willing to accept and accommodate these children with methods proven so effective today for depression and other psychological issues that they would otherwise long after they had been in war.

- Explore the conditions and facilities of a refugee camp for former Covenant subjects like that in Rio de Janeiro, the rights of these migrants in the camps and outside them, and the politics that concern their continued existence.
