Just like VtHU, I'll be compiling a list of topics from my own head and from other people's suggestions. Then we'll go through the same cycle of Human, Covenant, Ancients, and Miscellaneous (I think I'll skip the free round for this one, although I might consider replacing it with a comedy round). Something different that I'd like to do, I'd love for this to either be chosen by someone other than myself, or randomly drawn (I might enter all the themes for a given week into a system that chooses one at random), primarily because I want to participate as well, and I want to be creatively challenged with some of the subjects.

As for the themes themselves, because these will be fuller stories, they can be both more broad and more specific. Something as broad as "gambling" to something as specific as "a poker game with three Grunts, a Jackal, and one plasma pistol". I really don't care. I'd like to leave some room for interpretation, so we get a glimpse into the aspects of the Halo universe that each author is most interested in, but if a very specific topic is fun, I'm all for it.

The intention is to explore more of the unseen sides of the Halo universe while adhering to the canon, just like VtHU, so I will veto anything that asks people to tell a story that already exists in one form or another or breaks canon, but otherwise anything is free game. The canon allows for quite a lot of stories, and even if people break it a little I'm sure they'll still be fun to read. :)
