From what we saw of the updated Ascension, it would appear that they added a bridge/tunnel connecting the long path between the main tower and Banshee platform to the center area. I always that would have improved the map immensely. I'm not really a proponent of the other clutter though.

And from what I understand, you can still play the original too.
