As I understand it:

Every Halo 2 map (20+) will run at 1080p and 60fps with the old graphics and Spartan/Elite models. Gameplay engine is identical to the original Halo 2 (plus original Halo 2 Title Updates).

Additionally, six maps will be released in both the "classic" version outlined above as well as a new "remastered" version with totally new graphics, assets, and a new gameplay engine reminiscent of Halo 2.
