: I get bummed out during dry news spells. To be honest it is a disservice to

: things hush hush but a hint every now and then, a tease, something to keep
: my interest would be VERY appreciated.
: It's ridiculous dry spells of no information that are the reason why HaloGAF
: got banned. Fans with nothing to do (especially a year+ after a less than

Could be worse, they could be like Rockstar and waive a thing like online heists in your face, before the fucking game releases, then not release online with such a feature, and then keep you in the dark on a solid release date or details 8+ months later.
How would you like it if they announced CEA the day the contracts were signed, but then it fell into development hell or hit roadblocks that delayed release? You'd more than likely be complaining about a lack of interesting updates beyond "When It's Done". Ignorance is bliss.
Not everything is certain until it is. Remember, CEA wasn't originally going to let you switch graphics modes in real time. Features and plans change. It's not good PR/professional to keep changing product information as things are discovered in development just to satisfy those in a community who feel they are starved of news.
