I was afraid of this since seeing his sample art. All the other Konokos we've seen (except possibly the AIC one, we've only seen her face) have been very slender. At least the giant breasts don't carry over to most of the panels.

I can see what you're saying about the layouts, though. I think he's doing lots of moment-to-moment transistion to make it feel more manga-ish, but is still laying it out like the more action-to-action based American comics. Thus we have moment trasitions broken across page wraps and with oddly varying panel sizes. Or am I just a guy who read Understanding Comics and thinks he knows everything?

And I agree about the action lines. In panel 3, page 3, they don't even make sense.

For the motorcyle things, maybe his version of the cycle has a really narrow seat, enabling her to put her legs straight down.
