Ummm, I didn't quite follow the logic of the last post in this thread, but it seemed like a good entre to mention that there are a lot more reasons for the release delay, the most important being the fact that Take Two offered West more polishing time after they saw the Oni Beta disk.

They did this even though delaying meant pushing the release out into the next quarter and dealing with all the financial/marketing/pr ramifications that follow from that decision.

I know that the fan community is hungry for Oni, but you have my solemn oath that without that time the product would not have been as polished as it is now.

So please try to think kindly of Take Two and don't be mad: they have been trying to keep the best interests of the game at heart.
