So your argument is that if Bungie leaves it in, thereby restricting multiplayer to the select few people who play games over broadband, and thereby pissing off the great number of people who will buy Oni... it's our fault for not having cable?

Right.

Listen, dude, you can be a "hardcore" gamer if you want but I'm like most other people- I just want to buy a game, take it home, and enjoy it. I don't want to have to subscribe to cable in order to enjoy it. Stop thinking only about yourself for once and try to see where Bungie is coming from; they didn't set out to piss you off, they set out not to piss most everybody off, when they took out multiplayer.

And here's some consolation for you: If by some miracle most of the free world gets cable sometime in the near future, Bungie has said they are still looking into multiplayer options for Oni and making them available later via a patch.
