In Response To: Re: my reason (*mxy) Well, okay mxy, there are several games with hand to hand combat, but think about this, you grab a chair and hurl it at a guy's hand, knocking his gun away, then you sprint up to the guy and give a neck-snapping kick to his face. If you ever played Marathon or Pathways into darkness, there is one hell of a good plot, and PiD is one the hardest games(I think)ever made. There are lots of good plot twists, and everything is fun. As a matter of fact, I got my alias from Marathon. Some games hand-to-hand combat is simply one thing, punch. One punch, same damage. But in Oni, you can figure out all of the moves. Okay, another scenario. There is a guy emptying a mini-gun in the room. All of your teammates and partners are getting slaughtered. You decide to attack. You have no weapons, except your body. You sprint at the guy, he fires, narrowly missing you. You can the the laser point just above your head. You close in on him. Just before he fills you with lots of lead. You slide at him. Now, in Oni, a slide kick is a combo of running and crouching. You take out him at his legs. He stands up and pulls out a grenade launcher. A well placed punch knocks him out. You save the day. That is what I have read from a gamers approval of Oni. It is going to be cool. Halo is not going to come out for a while. Oni will(hopefully) come out within the next few months. They are currently looking into making a multi platform CD - Tycho
