I don't think they're ALL crysalis hosts. I doubt the Strikers are, But the Tankers and Furies definatly are.

Barabbas was a "prototype" if you will of the stunted Crysalis hosts. That is why Konoko and he don't sense each other. (Of course, I wonder why no big deal was made about Konoko a Muro 'sensing' each other.) Anyway, from barabbas, (and likely other people) they learned how to stunt Crysalises so that they could be put into people to be super-soldiers, yet never pose a threat to Muro and the select elite that would get the full she-bang.

I'm like 80% positive I got that right. Its been a while since I've played.
