Why does this forum keep resetting for me!!?!

I got on today and instead of it saying something like 'Welcome back William Wallace, there have been 43 posts...' or whatever, it just said 'Welcome!'! Now I don't know which posts I have read and which ones are new! Does this happen to anyone else, and if so do you know how to stop it?!!
