Social media transformed the way we fans interact, and it was also perfectly timed with a weird period in Halo history. Think about it. Halo Reach came out in 2010 and not only was a polarizing Halo game, but the IP switched hands around then as well from Bungie to 343 and Microsoft. That next year Twitter became a thing, Facebook became the most visited website online and traffic on Reddit tripled in 2010! It was an unfortunate perfect storm of craziness, particularly for HBO, that led us to where we are now.
I obviously still love the place, but especially during down times of no new Halo news, it will be way more quiet around here than it was back in the old days. :)
