I was referring more to SFBFII that tied-in with Revenge of the Sith. They wrapped a narrative around many battles from the film including Felucia, Kashyyyk, the Jedi Purge at the Temple, and other post-Clone Wars battles featuring Darth Vader's unit, the 501st Legion.

Oh, I totally agree with regards to Fighter Squadron, but I believe fans were at least partially wanting objective modes with simultaneous infantry and space combat.
