For all its faults I felt like Reach still had something for absolutely everyone. I wouldn't have been too distressed if the Halo games took a hiatus after Reach because everything Bungie had done up to this point was in this game. You could keep adding more and more to this game but the basic disc still provides so much.

That's kinda why I had my hopes up for Destiny given Bungie's track record. Of course not everything in Halo would translate perfectly to an MMO like Destiny but you'd still expect saved films and custom games, right? I'm not going to knock Bungie down for not including these features because it was my business to understand that I should know exactly what I'm buying. On the other hand developers have an obligation to advertise and demonstrate these features so they can sell their product. I think both Bungie and 343 Industries have done a good job of informing their audience of what will or won't be in their games prior to release and what is scheduled or may come later.
