In-game distance indicators. For Blood Gulch, I used the range finder on the sniper rifle to measure the size of the map. For RoA7, I used the territory markers that are shown for each control zone, in particular, the distance from the East Armory to the Spire. The distance from the side of East Armory closest to the Spire and the indicator on the Spire itself showing how far away it is was about 150 meters. Each Halo games seems to be to-scale, so a meter in Halo 1 should be as big as a meter in Halo 5.
