: I like that, too, although it is really annoying that they auto play when you
: pick them up.

: Yeah, that is a huge disappointment. Firefight was a lot of fun.

: Also, I'm not sure if it's an issue with MCC or if it was like that
: originally, but the sound in both Halo 3 and ODST is borked beyond belief.
: I use A50s, and the sound is just awful. The music is almost unbearably
: loud, and the gun effects and some voices are really quiet. In Halo 3
: (ODST doesn't seem to have the issue), the surround sound isn't even
: location accurate. I don't recall the original games being bad (although I
: do feel like the levels between different things were a bit wonky), but
: it's been so long I don't remember.

I still think it's a missed opportunity in any multiplayer game that has a campaign to not have a mode that copies Gears of War's Horde Mode. Why let all that AI programming and map building be relegated to two completely separate modes? With a minimum of effort they could at least add a bot-like mode that spawns in Elites into the multiplayer maps when you're by yourself just so you can practice getting used to the maps or whatever. It also gives offline players a reason to check out the multiplayer maps.
