So, Fleet Battles wasn't all that Spartan Games was working on. Take a look at what they revealed at Gencon:


I see a Scorpion and all four Warthogs that have made an in-game appearance. Nothing earth shattering, but ohyeswe'regettingaHalowargameyes!





And for those of you who haven't been following the Fleet Battles game, this is what the models look like when they are given a proper coat of paint.

Future expansions are being planned. I haven't read the ruleset, but Fleet Battles could go the way of Warhammer.

Also, when the scale of the models in Fleet Battles was announced, there was some speculation as to how big the CSO Supercarrier from Reach would be. Wonder no more:
