That actually sounds ominous given to what's been happening to Games Workshop over a long time, and god knows what will happen to Age of Sigmar.

Anyway, I'm really psyched. My set arrived a few days ago, and I can't wait to assemble all of it, and then paint it to look like an insurrectionist-turned-UNSC independent fleet, and those new ships are so freaking pretty. I'm going to make a massive collection.

Spartans look a bit better in here than they did last time, but it might be the angle. Also saw the CSO in other pics, and that was just insane. I don't think it'll be for sale other than something to put in events and special games, and I don't think there'll be a UNSC equivalent. It may most likely be something for "boss fights" in cons, so to speak. It's simply not feasible to carry around like the small models would be.

As for the rules, I think the 3-to-1 rule of canon is conserved, but balanced by giving the UNSC both good space fighters and Spartans for boarding action. I've been flicking through the rules, and while both an element of two Covenant corvettes and three UNSC frigates have the same "HP", the Corvettes element (and all of the Covenant ships themselves) seems to pack way more punch than the frigates do, so in theory it's better to attack in bigger groups against weaker spots when you're UNSC, as it would in canon.

They mentioned a battle of 49 ships was a SMALL one in this game, and that it could support up to 300. I want to play a game like that someday.
