I feel like this will be the answer. And why not? It's a model that I think Mass Effect 3 used quite efficiently. Free multiplayer DLC, paid Campaign DLC. Also, this new multiplayer mode, perhaps it won't strictly count as multiplayer (I'm picturing something like Firefight/Spartan Ops), so maybe future expansions of it will be paid DLC.

Anything for more story.:)
