Not giving the IIIs armor upgrades really seems like a grade-A dick move on the UNSC's part. Guess having all those child soldiers around has started to become an inconvenience so the brass hopes all of them meet a heroic death, preferably as soon as possible.

You know what's also began to bother me? That no artist ever depicts the SPI armor's stealth coating as active. It'd be great to see that pseudo-active camo realized somewhere.
