H2A 1328x1080

So Mr. Ayoub tells us that H2A will run at 1328x1080 (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/halo-2-anniversarys-campaign-doesnt-quite-reach-fu/1100-6422806/).

My question is, how is that even possible? The game will be displayed in widescreen format, and 1328x1080 is definitely not widescreen, so how does it compensate?
