Lest I be accused of telling someone they're not allowed "to say anything negative" know that I am not a beacon of positivity.
That said, the 4-5 regular posters here that drone on and on about how much they dislike 343's handling of the franchise and what have you, offer nothing to add at this point to those of us who are looking to see what the future holds.
It's nice that some still hang around because of the community and the friends they've made, but when you feel as you say that you do, you have to know when you've hit that line of being a buzz kill instead of a contributor to discussion.
When you hit that point, where you aren't adding anything new or keep saying what's already been said (for some offenders, many, many times over), it's time to take a break. Try something new. Sample something else.
Then after sufficient time, pop back for a visit and see if things have improved to your liking. If not, well, then you have your answer.
: Halo has still been a massive part of my youth. Very much looking forward to
: Destiny :D
The funny thing about youth, is that it's never as good as you remember. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were my childhood. While I still look back fondly on those games, they don't hold up to the standards of today, and while nice for a visit, don't suck me in like they used to.
And that's OK.
It doesn't mean that I love them less than I ever did.
