I feel you on that. Really, I just wasn't that fond of the Mark I design, and it was a bit of a hindrance when trying to design something that could evolve into the Cyclops. The depiction in Halsey's Journal just seemed kind of lazy, because it was basically just a slightly altered HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL prototype.
