No one is saying companies can't or shouldn't make money, or even profit necessarily. The use of the phrase "cash grab", to me, and I think to many or most people, reflects the philosophy and the thought behind it. It means that that something is being produced more for money than because it's needed, or because it's a quality product or service, or because it's expected, or even more for money than because it's wanted, and an attempt at a cash grab won't necessarily actually make much money.

Well, being jilted with the product, I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if you don't like it, it's easy to slip into thinking other people don't like it, and thus the company is selling it to make money and not because it's good or wanted, while that might or might not be true. Not liking the company shouldn't even translate to saying something is a cash grab, but I'm sure it does for a lot of people; so those are good points.
