uberfoop already answered this like I would have so ill just let his answer stand.
: There's also the Upload Studio thing to take into account as well as Twitch.
: I believe Theatre mode will return but we'll not be able to upload full
: games. Just 5 minutes max, at a time. And that alrwady takes half an hour
: or so to upload. Which is weird by itself.
: If you want to upload a full game, then Twitch saving would be your best bet.
: Now if only I can figure out how to edit and save those Twitch videos for
: later viewing.
Upload Studio and Twitch are both vastly different from theater mode. Upload's quality and time limits limit it to do only one thing (that it does well) to share epic moments socially. It's a great idea and tool but it's not what people who use Theater mode want as a replacement.
Twitch has been cool to tinker with, but again it's not a true replacement. It bogs down your internet speed significantly and doesn't do constant fps or definition (1080 or 720).
Some people probably see theater, twitch, and upload as all the same thing and wonder why people really want theater, but when you get down into the details and usage, then you realize they all are valid in existence because they're good at different things.
