However, I'm very interested in the Halo series dipping into other genres. I think Halo Wars and Spartan Assault were both great experiments, and I'd really like them to push those ideas further. Of course, I'd still want the mainline Halo games to be FPS, but for the kind of games that are meant to expand the universe, they should play around.

- A combat flight simulator would be awesome to see. Every time Mid7night posts those videos of Halo vehicles in X-Plane, I get excited about that concept.

- Third-person shooters also have a way of making me feel more a part of the setting than FPS games ever do. Could be a great way of expanding the universe in a much more cinematic way.

- The idea of Halo: Chronicles still sounds intriguing. Really hoping a similar project comes along at some point.
