I would actually much rather play a Killer Instinct/Soul Calibur-style fighting game with Halo characters in it than a Smash Bros style. Hell, I'd rather play a MegaBloks Halo game than that too, but Smash Bros just isn't my style really.

A racer would be interesting, especially if it was like SW: Pod Racer, where you could build some sort of backstory; set it on Venezia with a motley cast of contestants in a variety of modified Halo Universe vehicles, with an interesting narrative framework and you could actually have a pretty damn fun game...
