This Week's Bulletin - Wild Conjectures and Musing
By:MacGyver10

- When asked his favorite Halo book, he said Contact Harvest because of Joe Staten's work on it and he was hanging out with him this Saturday. As Joe Staten left Bungie in September of this year, is it a possibility then that he's been at 343 since then? Of course, Frankie and Joe are probably friends from their time at Bungie together and living in Seattle, but it still made me wonder.

- This is my favorite statement from the entire Q&A, and it's on player feedback: "I think that's probably the most important question for our community, and I think we'll start answering it honestly and directly in due time. So I won't touch on philosophy here, other than to say you'll see a lot of those learnings when we start showing things. There's no semantic dance I can do here that will satisfy every segment of our audience - there are just too many pitfalls and inter-community disagreements on what makes Halo MP great. So we will be open and receptive and honest with ourselves."

- When asked about which veto system we'd see in the next Halo, Frankie said dedicated servers and cloud tech would change the "rigidity of matchmaking, period." Is this a hint at a custom games search?

- Plans for the Arbiter and Sangheili are plentiful for both story AND gameplay. That seems like a huge nod in the right direction that we'll see the Arbiter in the next Halo game, though not confirmed.

Any other thoughts on Q's or A's from this week's bulletin, or even my wild conjectures?

- MacGyver10
