The MASTER CHIEF plays the pinball machine in the corner break room. FRED walks in.

Hey, John, we're going to hit up a kegger in engineering, wanna come?

MASTER CHIEF


...No, I'm good.

Fred shrugs and leaves. The room is empty. Master Chief suddenly beats the high score, is teleported to a desert Forerunner planet and has crazy adventures, narrowly saving the galaxy from an eminent threat before teleporting back to the break room.

Chief goes to the fridge and breaks out a MOUNTAIN DEW, then sits down and lets out a breath.

MASTER CHIEF
