: Anyways, thank you very much, kind sir, for your extensive write-up. It is
: much appreciated. Seeing as how I already have Halo 4, does it really make
: sense to buy the GOTY edition just for the DLC? I don't care about skins
: or anything. If I cared that much I would be playing Call of Duty. But
: does it still cost less to buy the GOTY edition (whenever it comes out)
: than to buy just the map packs? Because, that's all I would be wanting
: here. Plus, if I end up playing with HBO people tonight or whenever, I
: don't want to be that guy without the DLC screwing life up for everyone
: else.
: Thanks Rev. :)
You'll barely ever play DLC. I'd get Majestic just because it contains the 3 best (non forged) maps in the game. Crimson sucked, as did Castle. Would also get Champions Bundle since it's still pretty new, and it comes with armor that actually belongs in a Halo game. Plus Pitfall is probably the best remake 343 (but really CA lolol) has done.
Off topic, but this made me remember how 343 said they wouldn't put any H3 maps in the Anniversary Map Pack because you could already play them on 360. Then, the only remakes in H4 are from H3. Wut
