Now that I'm back stateside, I've got my 360 hooked up once more, XBL purchased, and I'm playing through Halo 4's single player for just the second time right now, hoping that I'll appreciate it more this time around.

My question to you is: What all did I miss, and what all do I need in the line of DLC? I made a premature retreat from Mother Russia for financial reasons, so if there is crap DLC that no one ever plays that isn't really mandatory, then I'd like to save my $10 if at all possible.

So, yeah. What about gametypes/matchmaking? I followed some of the tweaks that 343i made, but obviously without being able to experience and test them firsthand, it's kind of difficult to get a good feel for what has been changed.
