The media views gamers as basement dwellers with neck beards. As a result games will never get the same kind of industry respect that Film and Music get.

BTW I was totally normal when I met Jen and Steve...I managed not to fan girl.

I went up to them, introduced my self, shook their hands, told them I was a fan, got a picture, an autograph....Ok maybe I fan girl'd a little bit...But I still gave off an aura of male dominance and sheer willpower that very few can achieve.
