This is also encroaching on the rising subject of developers leaving the industry / losing desire to make games, because of the overly fanatical actions of the few, even turning into threats of harm on families (even if only vapid internet threats). It's stressful. It's ridiculous. But anyway...

Thanks for linking to that comment :) I think for the most part, one could replace "Bungie" with "343 Industries" and the same sentiment would ring true...
