Now, now. Those issues arise mostly because of the sheer amount of possible combinations of hardware AND software a computer can have. I assure you digital distribution on consoles would suffer as serious issues nowhere near as often as computer games do.

I'm not assuring you it won't happen at all, mind you. I believe we all know about the latest PS3 update fail that bricked quite a few of them.
