I just finished Silentium. Spoilers below if you haven't read this novel yet.
So at the end of Silentium, which I found to be more enjoyable than the previous two Greg Bear halo novels, we discover the Librarian we meet on Requiem is an imprint of the original Librarian, and the Iso-Didact doesn't die off with the firing of the Halo Array. In either Primordium or Cryptum (I don't remember which) when 343 Guilty Spark is recovered he says he knows where the Librarian is held. Is he talking about Requiem, or is he talking about somewhere else? I can't help but wonder... what the heck happened to the rest of the forerunner? It's good that I have more questions because if I didn't it may signal the end of Halo for me (at least campaign).
Anyways, am I missing anything, or is there any speculation from forum regulars as to the wherabouts of the the Iso-Didact and the Librarian (not the imprint on Requiem)? I'm happy to have some tinge of mystery back in the Halo universe.
