: You start the game, and while the match is configuring you can read all sorts
: of helpful hints: "Use teamwork to capture the flag! You can't do it
: alone!"
: "You can talk to other people with a headset! Use this to communicate
: important information to your team!"
: "Protect your teammate while he is carrying the flag!"
: "Try co-ordinating attacks with other players. It's super
: effective!"

: Now everybody works as a team.

I guess you didn't try multiplayer at all-- a lot of that is in there:
- when the game starts up, the description for the gametype is shown (not long enough, but at least they tried)
- also when the game starts up, the announcer tells you the point of the game*
- when your team takes a flag the announcer says "Defend your carrier"
- when an enemy takes your flag the announcer says "Kill their carrier"
- when your flag carrier is killed the announcer says... something about it, I forget what
- when an enemy flag carrier is killed the announcer says "Protect your flag"
They did get rid of the little notices that pop up while finding a match, though, which I think was a bad idea with no up-side.

* BTW, people that said that seemed annoying pre-release because I was watching the game and not playing it myself, you were completely wrong, and that goes almost the same for the words in the middle of the screen (somehow I've blocked those out a little more and I don't mind them quite as much as I'd expect, probably because of the instant gratification factor)
