In Response To: Bungie Credit Card Image (DHalo)

: So recently I got approved for a new credit card and I wanted to use
: something Bungie related as the image for my card. Unfortunately,
: copyrights prevent me from doing that. Still, I tried to use an image from
: the opening logos from Reach for a good space image. Sadly, Capital One
: still shot me down.

: So my question is, is there any image that Bungie would be okay with using
: for a credit card image? If not that's cool but I figured I'd ask.

If you're still looking for something, I have some thoughts. They don't seem to mind people doing stuff with the Marathon logo, if that helps. The Superintendent hasn't been shown on any copyright or logo page of theirs in a while and it showed up in a map they didn't make, and anyway it looks pretty generic. You could try a simplified version of something; for example a nondescript oval with a dot in the middle (or maybe without) and the lower left quarter missing. Maybe an ordinary-looking "Tru7h [and carnage]" would do it for you. Forerunner or Covenant glyphs sound good. Lastly, there are the geomantic figures they used not long ago, those look kind of generic and go back hundreds or thousands of years.
